Well the weekend is almost here. There is also a sign of cooler days as well. Perfect modeling season is upon us. Lets grab a chair, gather around and discuss what we want to accomplish this weekend.

Saturday: Having been at the club meet last night, I got motivated to play with my trains. That said, I hope after working part of the day Saturday, I can either set up the layout in a small area we set aside for it or, it looks like the local storage facility has environmentally controlled storage units. These are indoors and may have electricity. If I can find one that is small enough to house the layout all set up along with my trains for a decent monthly price, I might just pull the trigger on this.

Sunday: Is supposed to be rainy. What I really want to do is find some HO track and set up my new Athearn Genesis BN GP7. I've had it now for a month and haven't even had time to look at it. Time will tell as the domestic duties never seam to go away.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? let us know. We'll assemble again on Monday the 8th to see what we accomplished. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always...

Saturday: Mask for and then paint the next color onto the Lark consist -- SP Lark dark gray. Then I'll figure out what other project or projects I want to get into. I really should clean my track -- it is nasty!! LOL.

Sunday -- at this point - I haven't decided. We are going on a cruise of Long Beach harbor for dinner --

Hope Y'all have a great weekend!!

Okay, after four months of life intervening and massive moving of stuff from one room to another with necessary cleaning, I finally may be able to actually work on my layout in its "new" environment. Thus far it is only to unearth the "Timesaver" layout but hopefully I'll bring the first section of my old layout home to start integrating it with what is here and determining if the combined layout should be raised higher than it was in its previous incarnation.
Here is the link to my original plans and projections of what will (hopefully) be: http://www.trainboard.com/highball/index.php?threads/modified-time-saver-layout.100022/

Big weekend for me this week. I will start it off working on my platform for the team track. Ending with the crossings that I started earlier this week. With everything in the middle. [IMG]
