We are heading into the last weekend of September believe it or not. Hard to believe October is knocking on our doors! Saturday: No real plans yet, my Dad and I have a major bathroom re-model project that may take a bit of our time. I have yet to play with my new Athearn Genesis early BN GP-7. I wish now I had brought all that HO track so I could at least program it. There are no hobby shops anywhere near me here in NH so I'll see if I can order some online. Sunday: I'm taking a break and probably taking my Jeep Jess on a trail run. I'm now the member of a local Jeep club and they are organizing a trail run Sunday morning. I think that part of the trail is the old ROW of the former B&M Suncook Valley Line. If it is, that will be a lot of fun. After that, I'm spending some time in the south west portion of the state to meet a friend and to see some ghosts of the old B&M. So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Saturday: After a couple of final touches -- I will lay down some primer on the remainder of the Lark cars. The triple unit Lark club, 4-4-2 sleeper and the ever popular 2-1-1 lounge observation. Sunday: First coat of paint (Lark light gray) on: 13 dbl bedroom sleepers (3), 10-6 sleepers (4), the Lark club, 4-4-2 sleeper and the observation. This weekend I continue working on the section I ballasted and populated with my dads models. It still needs some figures, I found a spot for cows so I need a fence, I also have a structure I started building years ago that needs finishing. Planning on doing that today.
I need a desk for my new layout space so I have a work table. So yard sale visits shall commence. I also picked up a small box to put my NCE Power Cab components into to make a portable DCC controller so that I can move stuff about as the new layout takes shape. But all that will be fit in around my attendance at the LSU - Ole Miss football game tomorrow night. Gotta have priorities.
