Another Monday is past, how was your Easter / Passover weekend. Nothing for me except to run trains and show my parents, who were down for Easter, the workings of the Potter Place layout. More work done to Jess, the Railfan Jeep, but that was about it. So how did you fare? I got down to the museum and finished documenting and tagging their layouts wiring. I also picked up some letter and number decal sets to mark the connections on my clubs DCC control stand.
Well I completed the wiring for half of the turnouts and secured 99% of all the loose low haning wires around the layout (what a chore) but that was about it. I spent a good chuck of the weekend fixing and setting up our security cameras. I live in the heart of the city and the securiy cameras are a nice security blanket when the local brats get bored. That and we have teenagers ourselves that we have been having fun teenager fun with, so it helps to keep them honest as well, at least around the house.
I'm trying to get the end of my shelf module finished up. I need mucho more details on the little construction area. I'm also test fitting my new aBUTTments.
I got the rest of the track on the first section of my layout ballasted and weathered, finished, painted and weathered a concrete pad for a shed, and applied some static grass here and there.
I did some cleaning at the club layout trying to get ready for our open house this upcoming weekend.( If your in the SF bay area Click the link in my signature for directions and address.) Also running a pair of geeps through the paint booth for a quick paint job for a local I'm going to run this weekend.
