We're still in a deep freeze, and to me anyway, this has been the longest February I can remember. So did the cold temps and snow keep you diligent to the tasks you set about on Friday?

Saturday we got snow, nothing like New England mind you, but enough for Jared's game to get cancelled. So I had a nice quiet morning to get some writing done and the day quickly evaporated. The good news was I got most of the research and writing done. My detail parts for the pair of GP38's I wanted to detail, got delayed so I could not work on them. Unfortunately, this will delay me another week as work keeps me so busy that by the time I get done, its dark out and not good for eyes. Sunday I turned my attention to to the layout by starting track work on module three. I was really scratching my head how I was going to transition from module two to three by using two curves. Module two connects to module three in the shape of an L so the connection here is two parallel curved lines. In the end, I just adopted the NTrak method and so far it has been working well. With that puzzle solved, I went ahead and laid down more flex and a turnout. Module three only needs less than a foot of mainline and one spur before it is finished with track work. I'll probably get that done sometime tonight.

So how about you? What did you get done? Let us know! We'll assemble again this coming Friday the 27th and do it all again. Until next time...

I attached feeders to the buss lines on the layout. I only have about a 4' section of layout wired to the buss that includes the Main, Run-Around & a spur (this includes three turnouts). I spent yesterday morning and this morning before heading to work looking in that small area for a short.

I plugged my NCE PowerCab in and it started doing the electrical short sequence. I traced every wire from PowrCab to buss to feeder to rail, all is good.

*sigh*, something to dread for next weekend

I did some decal work on the GP35, but not too much since we had a half-decent weekend temperature wise, and I figured it was time to take advantage of being outside without freezing various parts of my anatomy...;)

I managed to pick up some supplies Saturday. Sunday was Daytona, so that was my day of rest. lol I'm not as big of a NASCAR fan as I used to be so this season I'll be doing more on Sundays than watching it. Besides model railroading, I build model cars and my daughter gave me a Baldwin Motion 69 427 Camaro kit a couple of Christmases ago and she wants to know why it's not finished (or even started). :eek:hboy:
