I hope you had a great weekend, hope you accomplished a lot and had fun doing it! My weekend was as expected, busy, but I did get a lot done in the shop.

Saturday was workshop day, catching up on e-mails and decal work. I now have the caboose and one covered hopper done in Bloomer decals as of this writing. I'm hoping to finish up the special covered hopper later this week, but for now, the large pile of O scale 2-Rail is slowly getting done.

Saturday afternoon, I lost track of time and quickly realized that my not so local hobby shop closes at 5:00 and it was quarter past 4! Fortunately after a call to the owner, he agreed to stay open. I arrived 45 minutes later to pick up my Tam Valley servo turnout machines. We talked a bit a business before I headed home.

Sunday was a bit more relaxed. Sleeping in is always a good start, which for me is 6:30am. Checking in with my Dad regarding the impending move was the next part of my morning before turning my attention to the Inglenook. I was able to get the main line down along with all the feeders, prep the two turnouts for servo control and start the easement from the mainline to the two spurs into "the dirt" like the prototype. I was really hoping to have more done than this but interruptions nonetheless still came up. Once the track is fully down, soldering of the feeders to the main bus and installation of the NCE DCC Panel and servo controls will be next. I comped up a Micro Engineering kit to be placed for my one industry, which may become Wiggin Locomotive Works and an older Mocaleva Model Works 60-300 Loading Dock will be used on the team track closest to the main.

So how about you? What did you get done this weekend? Let us know. We'll be coming back again on Friday, March 3rd to start the process all over again. Until then, have a great week, stay safe and as always...

Not much got done on the layout this weekend. Did some tree trimming on Saturday. Spent yesterday morning in the ER with my Mom. She fell and cut her upper lip. They did a CT scan on her head-- all is well. No swelling or internal bleeding. And, with NASCAR starting -- I got to work on a couple of oil pump jacks. Did manage to work on a decoder install (Continuing) on a Kato GS-4. I am using a TCS FL-2 for the head light and signal light. What a pain it is to program these function only decoders!! Still don't have it quite right.

Hope ya'll had a great weekend!!

Well guys, courtesy of the semi-recent tip over on the 'how to' board, and the almost complete absence of childer on Sunday, I filled in 3 annoying rail gaps that were causing kinks in my flex track connections. It's all good now and first time for some while that I managed any train time at all.
