Not sure why, but for me Trainboard was down for me on Monday so sorry this is a day late. As predicted, nothing in the way of train related activity this weekend. Unless working on Jess, my Railfan Jeep counts. I spent Saturday with her and a family member replacing all the brake lines before rescuing my sweetheart from the U of I Armory for the annual E-Fest. Lots of pilots, lots of planes but I was bored within minutes. Sunday I returned to E-Fest mainly to talk to old friends and former writers that wanted to know about the demise of Flying Models magazine. I finally helped Angela and Great Planes/Hobbico pack up and head home. So how about you? Did you get more accomplished than me? Tell us about it. I noticed it was down late Sunday and early Monday also. Not sure what happened. Anyways, it was a productive modeling weekend for me. I finished laying the track for my industries and started my 2nd building for the layout. The industries and yard aren't going on roadbed, so I had to slope that down, which an electric sander worked quite well for.
I saw that it was down early Monday morning for some reason. I was able to start working on my backlog of rolling stock. I have lots to build,, cars to renumber,, some need new wheels, and others repairs. I was able to build four kits. Also finished another structure kit. Next weekend I will continue to work on rolling stock and then Sunday get back to soldering and wiring track. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
