Not sure why, but for me Trainboard was down for me on Monday so sorry this is a day late.

As predicted, nothing in the way of train related activity this weekend. Unless working on Jess, my Railfan Jeep counts. I spent Saturday with her and a family member replacing all the brake lines before rescuing my sweetheart from the U of I Armory for the annual E-Fest. Lots of pilots, lots of planes but I was bored within minutes. Sunday I returned to E-Fest mainly to talk to old friends and former writers that wanted to know about the demise of Flying Models magazine. I finally helped Angela and Great Planes/Hobbico pack up and head home.

So how about you? Did you get more accomplished than me? Tell us about it. We'll come back on Friday the 30th and do this one more time for January. Till then, have a great week and...

    High Greens!

I noticed it was down late Sunday and early Monday also. Not sure what happened.

Anyways, it was a productive modeling weekend for me. I finished laying the track for my industries and started my 2nd building for the layout.

The industries and yard aren't going on roadbed, so I had to slope that down, which an electric sander worked quite well for.

I saw that it was down early Monday morning for some reason.

I was able to start working on my backlog of rolling stock. I have lots to build,, cars to renumber,, some need new wheels, and others repairs. I was able to build four kits. Also finished another structure kit. Next weekend I will continue to work on rolling stock and then Sunday get back to soldering and wiring track.
