I spent half of Saturday and Sunday looking for coal mine photos of Frisco's Mansfield Branch. A friend on the Frisco website showed a couple of photos from Burma Coal Mine 8-13. Will use them to scratch build it within the next week. It will go on module 08 north end for the N scale Boston Mountains Sub Division layout. Joe Northwest side. Southeast side.
Went camping Sunday so Saturday was my modeling day. I ended up spending six hours debugging some electronics and repairing the interior on the structure they go with. Had it working at one time then one of the sound chips started acting weird. It would start playing then a clicking sound would start. I would touch the board and then it would stop. The board was hot to touch. Once it worked again then shortly it would click again until I touched it. Hot again. I removed it went through each wire. Resoldered then all pretty much between the lighting effect and two sound boards. One sound board works as well as the lighting effect. I think the other is fried. I will order a new one that is slightly different. Not as many wires and has a volume control. The one I have only had an amplifier on it. The new one is easier to build and is better.
