Well the cool, brisk air is here which means it's time to gather 'round the the table and discuss what you got accomplished this weekend. NSBN NPL 2015 by Jim Wiggin posted Nov 9, 2015 at 6:49 AM I had a busy train weekend, starting early Saturday morning at a local downtown diner and meeting up with my fellow train club members. We had set up a few Ntrak and T-Trak modules at the Normal Public Library for a weekend of running trains. Our youngest modeler and member, Tommy, brought his excellent HO scale modular layout as well bring the total up to four complete running layouts. I ran mainly my CB&Q passenger trains on the Ntrak layout all weekend. Around noon, I slipped out and went to my "not so local" hobby shop's open house and 5 year celebration. We had hamburgers, hot dogs and cake and a I saw some old friends. After picking up some paint and a Tam Valley Singlet turnout control, I headed east bound to home. Sunday was the last day to run trains at the Normal Public Library and before we knew it, it was time to take everything down and head home. Now it's time for me to start thinking about next year's train show season. So how about you? Did you have a great weekend running or working on trains? Let us know! We'll start this all over again on Friday the 13th! Until then, have a great week, always stay safe and... High Greens!
Rained most of the weekend here so my garden railroad is staying rain soaked. However I start putting the detail parts on a USA Trains Reefer and came close to finishing my Hot Dog stand in HO scale.
Got nothing done as planned. Only hung Christmas lights up on the house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Made progress on my roundhouse. Have to repaint part of the roof. As I didn't match the addition to the old. Bummer. Also, I made progress on My On30 SP GE 50 tonner #1. Added in the cab glass, numbers in the number boards and train line air hoses. Have to dig up some gauge decals I have somewhere in a drawer. Then add the crew. Thanks, Wolf
