JMRI, Raspberry pi3+ and DCC++

    I need to do this also. Micro SD cards are cheap enough that I'll keep the one that is in there now for a 'just in case' situation. Then if everything is working on the new card and the rooster has been successfully been transfered I could use that card the next time I wanted to put a new image on it. Swapping the cards back and forth. I'd also have a backup that way. The rooster wouldn't be totally current if I had added to it with the newest card but still would be better than starting over from scratch.

    Yes. Note that JMRI, when it starts to use an earlier version's user preference file(s), it may change those preference file(s) such that they can no longer be used with the previous version of JMRI. So keep a copy of your preferences folder just in case you need to go back to your previously used version of JMRI (unlikely, but always be prepared.)
