    Hi all,
I need some info about the JnJ E-3/6 Resin Shells? Does anyone know which power units work with these shells? I've tried fitting them to the E-8/9 Kato, Life-Like & Proto power units with out any success. Can anyone help?
    Thanks

I think they are based on the old Con Cor/Rivarossi/Roco shells. The old Con Cor mechanism is narrower than other E mechanisms. Years ago I was able to get the Roco E-7 shell to fit a Kato E mechanism by carefully milling the inside of the shell out a few hundredths of an inch to give it thinner sides.

I put an E6 A shell on an old Rivarossi chassis and it fits so well my 4 and 9 year olds play with it and it is still attached and unbroken.

I have just one, but it is quite old, and I had a lot of clean-up to do on mine. It works best on the older Rivarossi/ConCor and those with Kato drive shells. The nose seems to be a little more exaggerated than the corresponding LifeLike units, but with some paint, could come out sharp and convincing.

I put it on an Atlas/Roco E-7 mech.
