    Hello to All,
My name is Joe and I've been interested in trains/model rr every since I was very young. I was raised up along the old B.& O. branch line that ran from Troy, Ohio to Piqua, Ohio. That was enough to start me on my way to be interested in trains. I have no clear recollections, but do remember that there was steam used on that line for a few years. This would have been in the early to (possibly) the mid 50's.
I've been active in model trains/ train watching off and on through my entire life. Just recently I've been bitten by the rr bug again. I don't have a layout, but have the itch to paint up some engines, so this is why I'm on the rr sites. I'm looking for forums where I might possibly pick up some equipment, decals, paint and odds and ends.
I currently have several H-O engines that I'm working with.

Welcome aboard, Joe! No layout here either, but having a good time kitbashing, painting and weathering trains and building a little diorama for some photo fun. I think you'll like it around here. LOTS of helpful folks. :)

Hi Joe, welcome to the TrainBoard, we're glad that you are on board. There are a number of folks on TB who prefer to build models and dioramas instead of operational layouts, including PW&NJ above, so I'm sure you'll find companionship. BTW, if you click on PW&NJ's Railroad link, you'll see that the colors of his locomotives and cars look like B&O.
