Assistance Hello, Living here on the JKoint line, i hope to be a lot of help to you. DRGW: Im sure in the 1960's there were PA-1's on the DRGW Prospector. SW1000's and 1200's in Yards GP30's And in the later years, GP40's But for ATSF im not sure.
As for D&RGW motive power you are looking at FT, F7, GP30 and GP35. The yards and local power had GP7, GP9, RS3, SD7, SD9 and the usual switch power. Passenger power was FT, F3, F7, F9 and the Alco PA. Josh
ATSF wise. depended on where the train was coming from as the line deadended in denver for the ATSF. They had F units on occasions. SD45's (non -2's), SD40's, SD24's, GP30's, GP7's, GP9's, etc. The only thing you wouldn't be able to run are the GP20's as they where stuck on the high speed lines out of chicago as santa fes GP20's all had cab signals installed. Steam on the ATSF was gone... hope that helps.
No SD40 or SD45 in early 60s. I wouldn't consider 1965 (SD45) or 1966 (SD40) as being in the EARLY 60s. Josh
