I've asked this before and have never gotten an answer. My guess is nobody on this board used one at that time, but I will ask again, as I am thinking of making my old layout totally portable. Can anybody give me a comparison as to how the speed of loco can be compared when using the Jorger Delux compared to an MRC with a gaugemaster? Are they the same as far as slow speed controll? Does one make loco's creep better than the other? I use an MRC with a gaugemaster on my permanant layout and would like to use the Jorger on the protable one, but if the loco's can't creep, and they stall with the Jorger, I would just as soon buy another MRC and gaugemaster and make the portable layout a little less portable. Any info would be welcome. Thanks!
I have yet to see a Jorger controller other than online. I use DCC for some locos, and Gaugemasters for all the rest. I would like to try a Jorger controller in my solar set when I rebuild it. -Robert
Thanks Robert, I'm hoping someone can help me here. The main reason I want to know is the cost. I have several power supplies, so it comes down to this: Go with Jorgers or buy a few more guagemasters. Soooooooo anybody with any info?????????
Sorry I can't help you on this one even though I sell both! I use the Gaugemasters on my layouts. I have a few sections that I plan on testing the Jorgers with, but I have not gotten that far yet. I know those you have the Deluxes love them. Of course the same is true with the Gaugesmasters! Rob Kluz
Thanks Rob, if you do any testing let me know. I am still hoping someone on this board uses one and can give some feedback.
