After year of waiting for a modern reefer and proper decals, I finally have my Tropica juice train. The reefers are from Mk4D, and the decals are from Gerd. Here the juice coming through tunnel #1.

Those look great, John! Now all you need is the matching tank cars.

Most Excellent John. It has been a long wait for this train, but now that they've arrived; you're ready to haul some Florida orange juice! Have fun and get rolling!!!

Bill, weren't you listening when we voted and decided that California OJ was the best?

Try to stay awake in class Bill and pay attention son )

Anita would be furious with me......

    :mooh:
We still have orange trees in California? I thought we were just growing subdivisions.
OH wait! That was before the housing market went "sour".
OK, time to start growing that SWEET California orange juice again.
So, now where are my BNSF reefers? :tb-shocked: What? None?
Oh, all right! I guess I'll just have to use those old iced reefers again, "old style".

    Now, where's my coffee?

    Actually Bill,
I don't care who squeezes the oranges just as long as I get a glass once in a while. Love orange juice.

What I think I have to do is get me some of those cars.....whether they are orange, white, or navy gray, they are what I see in this area so must be up to date.......gotta get in the fight.

John, tell me about the cars......cost, difficulty of assembly, painting tips, etc.

The ones I see here are a very pale faded green, forget the road name, but I am only going to be running road names and car types I actually see in this area.

I want the folks who attend the Medford train show each Thanksgiving to be able to see the same as in real life.

Of course, the way some folks act around here, I'm not sure they see anything........

BTW. I'm beginning to see an awful lot of idle center beam cars sitting around. Lumber industry must be dozing again.

    Thanks Guys.

Gerd, give me some time. Its hard enough to paint and decals all those reefers, and some of them are still missing stir ups and brake wheels.

I weathered half of the juice box, but I want to keep couple of them clean. I want a little contrast.

I have a pretty good juice train in N and have been a fan of running it whenever I can. I'm glad you got one together in Z! You Z guys always impress the heck out of me. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
