Looking for those G Scalers that have body mounts Kadee couplers! Need to find out what coupler(s) were used. Or if I can body mount the current truck mounted couplers. Have 5 USAT cars. The remainder are Aristocraft. Can I use existing truck mounts, or do I need to get different couplers? If so, which one(s)? Or, for a temporary solution, I can create a couple of transition cars. Truck mount on one end, body mount on the other. Might be cheaper!! Information appreciated! Thanks.
I have quite a few pages on Kadee mounting, rolling stock and locos... Go to my site www.elmassian.com , and under large scale, look for Ted Doskaris' "vignettes" about 60 of them many are Kadee mounting. All my cars are also body mounts. I can run up to 55 car trains on my small layout... videos on Youtube under "gregeusa" Greg

Ted lowers the cars to match the prototype. The techniques will be the same, just difference in shims. Greg
