I have two Kato C44s in BNSF scheme. One from the first batch and one from the next run. The first batch one runs smooth and very quietly, but the second one sounds like a bumble bee buzzing zzzzzzzz which is almost as loud as some of my Athearns!!!! Has anyone had any similar experiences? Any suggestions as to what might be done to quite it down to the level of my other one? There aren't wires running around inside like the Athearns so they wouldn't be rubbing and the flywheels aren't rubbing----???? Can't quite figure it out----any help would be appreciated greatly!!!
<font color="336633">I have not had this problem on any of mine, but someone came to our club once with 5 ATSF GP35's and one of those did the same thing, it turned out to be a faulty gear in the rear truck, he sent it back to the model shop where he got it from and they sent a replacement.... at least he didnt have to deal with Kato's coustomer service....... </font>
