    George, ditch lites are the lites (flashing or constant on) that are lower than the porch or mounted on the porch. There are two in the front. These are required instead of the rotary beacon.

    George,The only ignorance there is ,is inm not asking questions cause the only dumb question is the one that doesn't get asked.By the way people if anybody has a good way to do ditch lights please pass it on. [​IMG]

    Well, this way works but doesn't look all that great and gets pretty hard to do at times. I used two fiber optics for the ditch lights. The fiber optics run from the LED down to porch mounted housings. I had to drill two holes on both sides of the nose and then after I inserted the fiber optics, you could see them going from the nose to the ditch light housings. Also, you have to heat and bend the fiber optics in JUST the right position to make them fit. Then be carefull not to brake them. On top of all this, dissasembly is complicated because the sill and the cab are linked together. Any way, like I said, it works, but is really hard, time consuming and you can see the fiber optics. I did this to one of my SD60M's
