I just came from the LHS and happen to see one of the New Kato Lite Rails and Modular track system. I was quite impressed the Lite Rail Car articulated with led's throughout. In the front two whte led's lead it's path, with one Red in the rear and led's in each car to light the interior that had excellent detail as well. The track system modular had streets marked off with what appeared to be parking lots for the designated stations. The track is a double loop about 2' x 2' not cheap but what in our hobby or life is these days. Rail car set was going for $112 and track system $170 less than MSRP or MApping prices but ... Worth a look though and I must add looked as if it might also run on standard Unitrak; that is what we placed them on to display them in the case and seemed to be a good fit. Well there you have it a opinion on a first hand look at this new interesting/cute New release. Get's my :thumbs_up::thumbs_up:
