All these "phases" for the different locomotives have me confused. Since Life Like has released the GP30 phase I painted for the KCS, I take it that at least *some* of the KCS GP30 are phase I. What about the rest of them, all they all phase I? Also, what "phase" are (were) the KCS GP9s? Any help with these questions that anyone can give will most definately be appreciated.
Don't know about the KCS GP30s except 10 were delivered in 1962 and 10 the following year. The three GP9s were delivered in 1959 and have to be Phase 3 machines. P2K will be importing the Phase 3 GP9 in August, don't know if they are doing the KCS this run.
Thanks for the help SSW9389. BTW: I like your sig. I'm a Cotton Belt fan also. I grew up watching KCS (out of the class room window, a lot of times when I should have been looking at something else!). I grew up near Shreveport, LA and the Cotton Belt had (now UP) a yard there so I saw the good ole Cotton Belt some also. Thanks again.
