    Hi all,

Made a number of updates to my site over the last few days. Haven't done much modelling due to building work going on in my house but I've uploaded details of what I have done.

Also, while I'm not trying to attract members away from this forum, my own forum is getting a fair bit of traffic at the moment with up to 100 posts a day so, once you've finished chatting on here, if you feel like dropping by for a chat then you're more than welcome.

My website details can be found in my signature.

    I haven't so I will! ;)

Also, I've now added a gallery to the layout - after promising to do so for weeks!

It's only a few pics of my test track and a couple of my locos but it's a start!

The gallery can be found at:-

    Welcome to TrainBoard Shaun!

If your loft is like mine, it gets hot and stuffy to breathe up there, so I will have to add some air conditioning, then continue with my layout.

    Hi all,

Added another gallery to my website. It contains 19 pictures of some of the buildings that I've assembled and painted so far for this project. The gallery can be found at:-

Let me know what you think of the buildings I've done.

    Shaun,
I like your latest version of track plan, and wonder what kind of couplers will you use for switching? Are you going to do it by hand each time, or use remote uncoupling?

That would be right! Move halfway around the world and suddenly there's an upsurge in Maidstone-based modellers!

Though Aussie, spent 3.5 years in Maidstone - ME15 then ME16. Miss B&Q, Wilko's, Sainsbury's, Tesco... even The Wateringbury, Zizzi's and the Mexican joint who's name I can't recall.... [IMG]

That's something that is using up an amount of the old grey matter. I'd like to have remote uncoupling but when I check some of the forum's over here in the UK, all I see is comments that the systems available are not that reliable AND that the most reliable of them require major work to the bogies.
