    Hi,
Well, I'm attempting to redo my layout and I have a few questions. My layout is modular and is on a series of 1" plywood tiles that when assembled allow for my outer most track to have a radius of 37" which allows then allows me to have a little bit of room to work with inside the circuit.

My mane issue is securing the track and making staggered joining points on the curves. My Brass SP&S 700 tends to destroy the track. I have a nail every 6" and currently have my joints next to each other. My problem is that the 700 seems to straighten the code 100 Atlas flex rail between nails and jogs the joiners apart over time. It doesn't bind on the curves or derail, and my radius is 7" over the minimum for the engine. I plan on staggering the joiners so they aren't right next to each other but that hasn't solved the problem with the rail bending to the weight and force of the 700. My skill level is about average and I have no elevation on this layout.

    Josh.
