The N&S has a main line that runs through my Hometown to Mexico Mo from St.Louis, this has been a strange few months as I have seen UP engines running freight in both directions without a N&S unit in the line; this occurs around three to four times a month as I get to see. Are they leasing time and trackage rights to the UP? The unit consists also operate a bit faster than the counterpart N&S consists, N&S average around 65mph the UP units 75mph paced along I-70. There have been other company units but they always had a N&S escort engine.
