I've had a thing for Pacific Northwest roads for awhile, but recently I've came to really like the Northern Pacific and later day Montana Rail Link. The NP has such a pretty paint scheme and the Virginian like superpower steam is very cool. So let's see your Northern Pacific models; freight, motive power, passenger, or structures its welcome as well as "The Mainstreet of Montana" MRL!
I grew up next to an NP branch line. Saw the end of steam and the new Geeps. Great memories, and sure miss those days. Wish some folks would have a few models to share.
a fictional beauty responsible for a passenger train and the occasional freight haul. #1256 is a one of a kind loco(NP never owned any Lt. Mtn's butthis baby was on sale for a good price and I was drooling over steam engines at the NP museum in toppenish, wa.) Handling the centralian train from Centralia, wa. to portland, then on the weekends a run from portland to seattle and back to centralia.
