One of thing I dont like is containers without any markings on them. We have some very good decal manufactures for containers like TNT and Micheal from Long island. [ March 04, 2006, 01:27 PM: Message edited by: shamoo737 ]
I just got my order from Hobo Tim a few minutes ago, and i have a lot of containers to do. 23 cars worth! -Robert
Joe, I have a small container terminal, but its too small. Its being move to a different location of the layout. The new yard will have a capacity for 20 Well cars. Here is some of my favorite containers.
John, Out Frick'en Standing! Love the containers! Wow! You didn't wait to decal the 53' corrugated containers. They look good with the CSX. Awesome! Tim
What can I said. I love your stuff. I have some of the FEC cars with the 53' markings, and your 53' containers and their 53' markings are a perfect match. Robert, your double stack container train will look more prototypical after you put on the decals.
John, They look outstanding. I'm in the midst of putting decals on my containers, too. It makes such a huge difference. May I ask where you acquired the JBHunt decals? I've always wanted those. Nice work! Bryan
Bryan, the JB Hunt decals came with the nansen street truck set. the set comes with 5 different decals for trailers. Maybe we should ask them to release the decals as seperate item.
Guys, I didn’t read through this thread before because containers and intermodal are not my thing. Yes NSM produces containers and intermodal items cause we know they will sell. I have some decals that I'd be willing to sell to anyone who contacts me off line. I sent the rest to Russ Kaufman, The N Scale Architect, my business partner, for sale with the NSM truck set. So you can also contact Russ ask him if he will sell them separately. They were made for NSM by MicroScale Decals. John Bartolotto Owner NSM
Bryan, You should have decals in your hands within 10 days starting from Monday 13 Mar depending on USPS from here to there. John Bartolotto
Great news, John! I'll be sure to post some pictures here when I get them applied. Thank you very much for the help.

John, on a different note, do you know when the Long Valley Lumber Kit from THE N SCALE ARCHITECT will be available in Z-Scale? BTW I bought your FR Hoppers recently and Harald made some Waddel Hoppers for me, what a luck! Regards Jürg
Jurg, I do remember that Rob, from ztrack, said that it will be avairlable in z scale. I think the kit will look great with the log cars. [ March 13, 2006, 10:09 PM: Message edited by: shamoo737 ]
I was thinking about building some well cars. More likely than not, the cars will be semi-freelanced (based on CN prototypes though) and I would like to design them to hold Marklin and MT containers. I don't have either container in my collection yet (never really had an interest in intermodal until lately) and wondered if anyone knew off-hand what the actual sizes were of these containers so when I build the models that the containers will fit. Thanks Chris
Guys, Sorry but do to poor response we decided not to produce the Long Valley Lumber Kit from THE N SCALE ARCHITECT in Z-Scale. John Bartolotto Owner NSM
