Hi guys, Was wondering if any of you can help. My father has just purchased a Proto 2000 E8/9 from E-bay, and we want to DCC it. Only trouble is, is that it is one without the plug-in boards, so we would have to hard-wire the decoder. Does anyone know of where we can find instructions to do this, as whilst we have done hard-wire decoder conversions before, we don't really want to mess this one up, as it is such a lovely looking and running locomotive. Chris, Go to tcsdcc.com and look up installation pictures. They have all the information you need to perform a hard wire installation. It is very simple. Dean The Train Doctor
Dean - I saw te old LL E8 listed here, but not the newer Proto. Being in the same boat, I was looking for the same info.
