Just a word of caution to anyone planning on installing a Digitrax DN163MO decoder in their 2nd issue (2006) of the LifeLike C Liner. This is the plug and play version. This decoder was made for the Micro Trains FT locomotive but Digitrax website says it will fit the C Liner and it does with one caveat. Do not attempt to slide the rear of the decoder into the slots in the chassis that the light board slid into. Only use the slots closest to the headlight. The reason is there are two electronic gizmos on the decoder at the rear corners and sliding the decoder into those slots will cause the frame to contact the two gizmos and then you can kiss that decoder bye-bye. The decoder will be secure just with the two front slots where the contact pads are. You can tape it down if you wish but really not necessary.
