Lighted Magnifier - Hands Free - Large - Advice?

    I'm going to try removing the nose support and try to make them more like the head band style I have used. On those the whole lens assembly raised up like a face shield.
    The extra magnification choices and light is great. As well as not being attached to the table.
    We each have our own needs.

    Yeah, these will also raise up to get out of the way too. Used them last night for wiring test DCC connections, they are awesome for me. But I also understand may not work for other’s?

    Bingo. I have been asked many times over the 35 years I have been actively modeling, WHAT is the one tool you could not do without at your workbench. My opti-visor is the answer. I have one at my work shop and keep one hanging upstairs at the train layout in the attic.

    I'm late to the question, but will still put in a recommendation for those that view this thread.
    After doing some research, I chose the Carson MagniVision model. I have been very pleased.
    Comes with an assortment of lenses, lenses pivot up out of the way, and the light on top is removable.
    Head band is comfortable.
    Because I am modeling in Z scale it has been especially helpful.
