I see some of these beautiful and interesting photos on RailImages and would like to follow them back to the TrainBoard topic that they came from. Is there a way to do that?
I don't believe so. Not everything in RI has ever been posted in a TB topic. As it is free, some folks even use RI as storage for use elsewhere.....
Not all of the photos posted to RailImages appear in threads on TrainBoard. You may upload a photo and not post it to any threads, or you may post a photo and end up posting it in three or four different threads. So, there is no direct link from a RailImages photo to any other places that it appears on (or off) of the site. Sorry, Charlie
I have used Railimages for quite a few years. Used it to point here on Trainboard, and to post on Atlasrr.com when I was active, and on trains.com. I keep MY OWN "word" file on my computer of my railimages URLs the way I think I can find things, so I can call 'em up w/o actually searching railimages.
Ken - one caution. With the recent change in software, the image links have also changed. You may want to validate your index file (I still need to go back and do that with some of my build photos, too)
