Has anyone ever purchased and used Lionel pins for AF S gauge track?

I bought my 1st small package of Lionel part# 6-49831 replacement "steel track pins for AF S gauge track" "Made in China".

They measure only .029 x .067, and rattle around inside every piece of track I tried. Did I get a bad batch? There is not another tinplate S gauge track these would be mistaken for, correct?

Using micrometer I measured track pin size (height and width) of all the other batches of replacement AF Track pins I have to be about .042 x .075 . My exposed ends of 70 yro worn track still measures .040 x .072

I have not identified any document stating what the pin dimensions standard is.

BoxCabE50, yes, those Lionel brand part# 6-49831 is what I purchased and came in flat/retangular as expected, but just too small of a thickness and width. I do not know of any other tinplate track that takes retangular pins like that other than the AF, which I heard K-Line was the company that made the track for AF before AF went under.

Ordered K-line brand K-492, same "steel pins for "S" track" and they measured the expected AF size and work fine.

The Lionel brand I mentioned look exactly like the pic you sent, with the half-moon punch on each. But are way too thin and not quite wide enough, to either do anything to hold the track together, or to conduct the current. So the batch China sent Lionel that I got is useless.
