Design engineers at the GandG Skunk Works have determined that they could use the fans from the LL GP20 for super - furlous cooling. They have 3 they can use for parts but expect they will mess up er: burn out, a couple in the process. Do any other roads have shell or two from a LL GP 20, (or any engine), they can spare for this noble project? I'll be happy to buy sell or trade. Please summit bid in the Yellow Forrum.
You could also use the fans from an Atlas GP-7/9 or LL GP-18 since all four loco's are basically interchangeable parts wise. BLMA also has fans as detail parts. Stay cool and run steam.....
