Can someone tell me which issue of MR the information on car and Loco weights is in. I can't find the information for some reason. Thanks
There is actually an article on properly weighting rolling stock in the current MR, which is I believe the February issue. These are NMRA recommend practices (should be standards), and can be found at http://www.nmra.org/standards/rp-20_1.html Locomotive weight has no set standard or recommended practice. If you think your locomotive should pull more cars than it currently can, try adding weight over the trucks to increase tractive effort. Be careful not to add too much, as you can overload the motor.
