I just tried wiring a Loksound 5 micro into a tight spaced two truck Climax. Unfortunately, several wired came off in the process. Having looked at ESU's instruction manual their excuse of a wiring diagram makes no sense to me. So I'm hoping someone out there that understands ESU's nonsense can explain which wires go to which soldering pads. My Loksound is a #58823. It is loose or bare wired. The front of the decoder has six solder pads. Starting from one side of the decoder the first pad is a yellow wire, solder pads 2 and 3 had wires that came off. Pad four is a red wire. Pad five has a wire missing and pad six looks like the motor's gray wire. So the colored wires that came off and need to be resoldered are orange, black, gray and white. Any help, suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jack
The Next18 wiring pad has 6 wires on one side, 5 on the other. The underside with the Next18 socket, is exactly the same as the 6 pin wiring. Orange (motor right) Gray (motor left) Red (track right) Black (track left) White (head light) Yellow (rear light) The upper pads are marked Green (Aux 1) Brown (speaker) Blue (U+) Brown (speaker) Violet (Aux 2)
