Some days its just lonely being a signal maintainer. Here we see signal maintainer Steward working on the Franklin Rd. crossing in Indianapolis. Must be a bad relay, as someone called in a activation issue.
And sometimes those boys need all the work they can get! Maybe this will help keep him awake for at least a couple hours!
Being a Signal Maintainer myself in my past years of employment I can relate to this. many a night spent out alone fault finding especially after violent lightning storms I've gone soft now i'm in Management but always rely on my fault finding experience to resolve issues etc. An excellent scene.
I think you need to show some ageing to the road. That road is in WAY to good a shape comared to that corssing in Lawrence. Heck, the last time any road was paved in Lawrence was in the late 80's, thanks to the Pan-Am games on Fort Harrison. Excellent modeling work by the way!!!
Not in Lawrence...haha, in eastern Indy. Its the old PRR line to Richmond, not NYC. Yes, the road will get weathered, just haven't gotten there yet! Thanks for the complements!
