Has anyone heard if Lowell Smith's operation in danger of the wildfires. These are unprecidented times not only are some of our long time suppliers in danger we have many fellow modelrailroaders who have and are losing no only their homes and livelyhoods, but also that layout that they have worked on and their collections that some have spent years collectiong. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone who has been impacted by all of this.
If you know where his operation is you can at least see if it's close to a fire area. https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/ For most of Oregon, we're not getting directly burned but the air quality is appallingly bad.
Communicated with Lowell last evening. He and Barb are not near an active fire, but they are staying indoors to avoid the bad air quality. He appreciates your good thoughts and concern. George
Joe, The most valuable assets of any company go to their homes every night. I hope all the workers of MTL have a safe place to go tonight. I’m showing my support by buying some existing stock. God bless. Matt
Hoping he’s good! Have to return the last AFT car, as the sides completely curled and came off! Just hoping things do NOT get any worse, for everyone in the path of a ravaging Mother Nature!! Stay safe everyone!!
