I have another example of railroads pcssing through the main street of Australian Country towns. The attached photo was taken late last year in the Victorian Town of Wycheproof as the daily grain working runs through the medium strip in the mainstreet. Yes I took it out the front of the pub. I am having trouble getting the picture to load so if it is missing try the following URL VLine Photo
Andrew, not only is the photo missing from your post, but the URL page is not available either. [ 20. July 2002, 13:35: Message edited by: Hank Coolidge ]
Andrew, Geocities (and most of the other free webspace providers) no longer allow remote loading of images, just in case some people miss seeing their ads! I can't even link to a friend's Tripod hosted site from my links page! Try uploading it to your ISP's server. It will work then. Cheers David
Good photo, Andrew. I would love to see more of the trains from Australia, but some of the Aussies on here don't post many pics
Im glad it finally worked. Working for a grain bulk handler I spend a lot of time working with the local railroad. Our local railway system is narrow gauge and the fleet is made up of the left overs from the mainlines. As such it makes an interesting photo project. However not every thing runs smoothly all of the time I should give them credit as they have moved approximately 1.2million tonnes of grain in the past 12 months over an aging 800km system
