I am looking for some station blueprints for the inside of the Malta Montana station as it looked in the 1940's and 1950's. I am also looking for what the track looked like at that time to.
Someone with the Great Northern RY Historical Society might know where to find such information. Other thoughts- Sometimes local source will have data. Such as the tax accessor or building department for a town or county. Also, the fire department might have something, as many use blueprints for planning methods of attack, should it ever be necessary to fight a blaze, conduct a rescue, etc. Boxcab E50
Have you tried this website: Home - GN-NP Archive They have a bunch of things there, from many years ago. From that site for Malta: http://www.gn-npjointarchive.org/BNStructures05000/Struc004365.gif 1921 http://www.gn-npjointarchive.org/BNStructures05000/Struc004364.gif 1945 http://www.gn-npjointarchive.org/BNStructures05000/Struc004363.gif 1945 http://www.gn-npjointarchive.org/BNStructures05000/Struc004362.gif 1945 Looks like all you need, from your requested time frame!

Thanks this should help me on a upcoming project to build a model of the station where I started my railroad work and what I still think of as my station. Travis
