Hi peeps I received my MDC Old Time 2-8-0 kit today and it has an open frame motor with a little brass flywheel on the back. Has anyone done a Sagami (or other) motor transplant on an Old Timer specifically? If so, what motor # did you use, did you use a flywheel and have you DCC-ified it? Sorry about all the questions but I am a newbie kit builder... Cheers
Well, due to my ignorance on this subject, it looks like I don't need to do a transplant. A little information from Coaltrain has increased my knowledge on the subject Cheers
