Has anyone else gotten this little gem? I got one as an early christmas present, it is an amazing little peice of work! It looking like I'll have to get at least one more and then I'll be looking into the Bachman as the new engine on the branch. P.S. You could possibly do DCC on this one by making the decoder look like a larger coal pile on the tender.
I got my MDC Consolidation a few weeks ago in PRR livery. Added the PRR circle emblem plate to the nose and it looks great. It runs smooth and steady pulling 15 cars up a 3% grade without slipping. The white led headlight is perfect. I have a PRR photo of the late 1800/early 1900 consolidation and the MDC model is close to proto, even the tender which was a object of debate for awhile. It's a welcome addition to my PRR steam collection. ...Eddie
