I recently asked what type of track I should use for a new layout. I have since decided on ME Code 55. I just recieved a delivery that included my first bundle. This stuff looks terrific.

Last time I went home to see my parents, I grabbed my box of train stuff. I had some Atlas flex-trak in there, probably 8 years old. There is no comparison. The ME is even shaped like a rail, where the atlas looks like an inverted T.

I can't wait to start laying track [IMG]

Is it possible for you to poste a photo with the two tracks side by side ?.

I just bought a box of Atlas flex tracks, so that's what I will be using :), but I would like to se the difference.

    Thanks

Steven, I agree with you about ME code 55 track. The rail has a good profile, just slightly tall for 134# rail at 8.8 inches. Code 40 looks even better, it scales at 6.4 inches high which is somewhere between 120# and 134# rail. Furthermore ME ties are properly sized and spaced which makes all the difference in the world! There is no comparison to any other manufacturer's N-Scale track.
