I am building a small layout to play with DCC++. I have many sensors (ambient light) built into the track (Kato unitrack). I plan to wire them to the Arduino mega 2560. I want to use the mega 2560 R31 terminal shield to do the wire attachment. Is there anyone who has done this, and if so, what are your experiences.

I am 80 years old and my hands are not as steady as they used to be. Is there anyone willing to assemble the board for me? I am more than willing to pay for their time and labor. I have the kit on order and will see how well I make out doing the soldering, however I would really prefer to have an assembled and tested board.
    TIA,

Thank you for the reply. That does look like an interesting device. My problem however, is not my eyes it is my hands. If I attempt to hold them steady to do fine work they quickly develop a tremor, negating their ability to do fine work.

I did find however a company that does make an assembled version of the Arduino mega 2560 R31 terminal shield. For those of whom might have been searching the company is crossroadsfencing.com

That can be my problem also but with the visor on and the object I'm working on looking larger, it seems to be less. Not sure why it helps and it might not help you but thought I'd throw it out there. I do love the visor and it has let me continue on in N scale where without it I'd be lost probably,
