micro engineering turnout ?

    Do N scale microengineering turnouts lock in place when switched like the Pecos do? I hear that the HO ones do but was'nt sure about their N scale turnouts.

    Yes the n-scale one's do have the over-center spring in them.

    Thanks. I was debating whether to get Atlas's new code 55 turnouts or ME's but didn't like the idea of using the overscaled caboose industries ground throws for the Atlas switches.

    Good luck finding the ME turnouts. Nobody around here can get any cause no distributors can get them.

    That's strange. My local hobby shop has a fair stock of them. The only thing I dislike about the ME turnouts is they seem to take a fair amount of fiddling and external wiring to get them to work properly. I'll probably still use them on my planned Prince/Quinnimont WV layout.
