There was a question when the first heavy Mikado will be release. Good news, it will be the CB&Q USRA Heavy Mikado with a release date of August 1.
Thank you Hans. That is good news. And it being CB&Q is quite fitting. My current fleet of Pennsy L1 bashes all came from Marklin CB&Q Mikados. Dan S.
I will run my Mikado during the show, and I will give a live review. I am also bringing my heavyweights to see how many it can pull.
Rob A. I saw that on the list, and I'll probably get at least one of them, but the Pennsy only had 5 light Mikados (L2s) and they were all used on "Lines West". If I remember correctly, I think they all operated out of St. Louis or somewhere. I just can't wait to have a heavy boiler to play with. Dan S.
Anyone have a high frame rate camera to take some pix if that running gear in action? Also some grade level vids please !
GuyZ, Bring your good photo equipment to the show and shoot some good videos. There's 2 full days left. Thom
Did somebody ask for a slow speed video?
John, Thanks for the videos.. the running valve gear is such a pleasure to watch in slow motion, It think it is time to get back to running trains. Kim
And the second question is what else happened at the NTS? New product announcements by any mfg? Layout info? Or was this NTS just a drag? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
