I'm modeling the Milwaukee Road during the transition era in n scale, and NOBODY makes any steam power except for the old Rivarossi Hiawatha 4-6-2 and the Con-Cor 4-6-4....and the soon to be released FVM 4-4-2. All passenger engines....so I have several undecorated steam engines (a Bachmann 2-8-0, an Athearn 2-6-0, and a Kato 2-8-2) I'd like to do for freight, but I can't find any decals. Does anyone know of a source for steam era decals? I'd like some "Chicago,Milwaukee,St.Paul and Pacific", but would settle for some "The Milwaukee Road". I thought about using the diesel decals for the tenders (the numbers for the cabs are easy enough), but the diesel decals are too small.....does anyone know if the HO diesel decals would work for size?
