I have been asking a lot of questions here over the past year and am very thankful for all the wonderful advice.
Over the past 2.5 months I have been able to make an around the room layout (U-shaped) with rock solid benchwork.
The past few nights I have laid roadbed and track on the first section which will be a reverse loop.
    Drum roll:
    IT WORKED!!!!!!!
(of course with the help of NCE Powerhouse and Tony's Train Exchange reverse Module)
I just am excited because it worked and I didn't have to jerry rig (sp?) anything. I took my time and worked patiently (which is not my strong suit).
Again it's great to have a board that is responsive as this one!!!!

    That's great news! Congrats!

A smooth running layout, I think, is worth the effort and patience you put into it. Now, if I could only find some more patience . . . ;)

    Jeff:

Those reverse loop modules by Tony's Train work very well.

I have four Lenz reverse loop modules on the JJJ&E and just bought the reverse module from Tony's for my turntable module.

Stay cool and run steam..... [IMG]

    Jeff,

It is always satisfying to see members progress with their layouts, if it wasnt for this site I would not have progressed to the level I am now.

Look forward to seeing some pics of your progress.
