I just ordered a 6 pack! I had asked brad to make these a while back for use on my Orbit Drive-In module, and I am glad he finally made them.

I think Acrylic RP is the coolest thing since peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!

The mobile homes are really nice! With a good paint job, they could pass as the real thing!

My only problem with them is the price! Dang, for me to build a trailer park would have me living in one before I knew it to pay for it! :D

From what I hear, MakeMyModel is soon to be coming out with some very nice items!

Yes this is an expensive hobby. One of my 24" square end modules has almost 2K worth of crap on it if I include all the electronice and DCC system, and that's where the trailers are going.

I finally have time to paint my first trailer. I think they look great. The only thing to watch out for its the wash the wax off before painting. In some places, you might need to use a toothbrush. I like to use my wife's when she is not looking. :D

Your paint came out nice John!

I like using the wife's toothbrush better too! [IMG]

I had a hard time getting the wax off mine. I loaded up sandpaper real fast after scraping it off with an exacto. I tried to wash it with dish washing liquid, but the wax would not come off easy.

I painted all 6, but here are 3 that I added window glazing to. I still have to finish the other 3.

Robert, your's came out nicer, of course. I wasn't sure what to do with the roof, I might steal your idea. Its that BLMA anthena. It looks great next to mobile park. I got to find some window ac for the mobile homes. I cant remember where I saw one.

Ours both came out the same! You do excellent work John! [IMG] We even chose similar colors, as I painted the trailer that looks like your, just a darker tinge of blue. Funny we think alike on painting! :D

The only thing I did different was I painted the roof with Polly Scale Aluminum color acrylic paint. I bought some of the Airstream trailers too, and painted them with Flowquil Silver, but after a couple months it was not dry yet.

When I picked it up, the paint stuck to my fingers. I rinsed it with Dio-Sol, and then used the Polly Scale Aluminum, which kind of sticks to these models. At least it dries.

I will paint the other CSX beige, because I already have it, and white. I think a lot of the mobile homes are in pastel colors to reflect the heat. MMMm, I think the air conditioner is made by Micro Structures for their buildings.
must find ac for those poor folks. It is hot in those trailers.
