Hey Guys... Has anyone ever turned a non-working MP signal bridge into a working one???? For the last week I have been looking at this signal and it looks very easy to do but.... do I use led's or grain-o-wheat bulbs???? [ April 23, 2005, 08:34 AM: Message edited by: up mike ]
Mike, I looked at that several years ago, and now I see good possibilities with the nano LED's thats availavle from ngineering.com. They are .080"x120" (very small) and come in red, yellow and green. Rodney
Just be ready with a white table, a magnifying glass/visor, and a clear area for a 6ft. radius... Those Nano's are the size of a grain of sand. ...BUT they are BRIGHT! ...AND The people over a ngineering are TOTALLY AWESOME to work with!!
Double sided sticky tape on a hunk of brass. Works great for holding those tiny LED dots down while you solder on a wire twice as wide! Tony Burzio San Diego, CA

Ok.....not bad for under $8.00 my first signal bridge I used a 1.8 led and 26 awg wire. on my next I am going to go with a smaller led and wire. This was for the back of the layout and just a test. So.... the next should be better!!! PS.... I must Say Thanks for some help on this little project from another Train Buddy David (Piute Flats Branch)
Mike - awesome!! The dock scene is killer also. You better get a signal maintainer over to that dwarf signal quick, though. It's showing a green aspect w/ a train occupying the block !
