Hello everyone, glad to be here and hope you don't mind a new member who is just excited about showing you something my wife and myself created. We filmed this beautiful model train with special lens and adapters, I wrote and composed all the music for a song I created called "Little Train". We used the clip for our film but then we also made a music video featuring the train and the song. The train was on a dilapidated property, the man there wanted nothing to do with anyone, that is until he heard the story were wanting to tell, and how we could us the train on the story. It had sat for over 5 years, and so we cleaned everything up and waited nervously to see what would happen.
And this is the result. If you have any questions, let us know, I will try to answer them. Billy
( Sorry I will be back, it says 3 days I have to wait before I can post a link)

I will be back to post it up!
Really glad to be a part of this, I just bought a small model train set, 20.00 in the box 8 cars, vintage everything works!

    Billy,
Some truly wonderful photography in this work. It does capture what you see in the real world when you happen upon a train, catch a glimpse of it as it goes by or disappears around a bend. I also think you had a unique treasure in the outdoor railroad in that it had been left on its own for so many years. The overgrown weeds, faded paint and rough track making the rolling stock rock and sway are what really lend the movie its character and draw the viewer in (well, it drew me in!). There's a close-up of a streamline passenger car at one point, not sitting on the track, with chips in the faded finish. It looked like a car I saw on an abandoned siding in northern Michigan about 10 years ago.

As a fan of coal, cinders and steam, I look at the steam locomotives and wonder how they would look, stepping slowly and carefully along that rough track like the old days on a poorly maintained branch line.

A very nice film and song. I liked it.
