Modeling GN passenger train

    I am working on my track plan for a 12x16 layout. I want to have GN EB passenger service based about 1955. I don't think that I can have 15 cars on my layout and the main line curve will most likely be 24 inches.
    Given that which cars should I buy? I have looked at Athearn, Bachmann and Walthers. I think that I would be modeling the route between Spokane and Portland.

    Any suggestions?
