What? http://www.ebay.com/itm/JE-CON-COR-...el_RR_Trains&hash=item564ad8e700#ht_196wt_882 Really? Same seller as above post...... Mike
And still wants $3.65 for shipping. Come to think of it, if you're going to pay $195 for that car, why not go another three or four dollars?
He even touts that the original price sticker is on the box - albeit for $6.49. You could click on "Make offer" and enter $6.49.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/290781178450?item=290781178450&ViewItem=&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:US:1123 $50 starting bid? Seriously?
I'm betting that this is a typo he didn't catch , maybe he meant $5.00 starting bid ? Looking at his other sales it all looks kosher. Randy
I concur with that analysis. Similar cars he is selling are listed from $5 to $11. A locomotive at $50.
My shameless self-promotion: I have a similar Atlas pulpwood rack car for sale on Trainstore. However, my car is probably worth a lot less as a collectors' item, because I have modified the original car to more closely resemble a Santa Fe prototype. It would be of interest only to modelers and model railroad operators. And no nostalgic Rapido couplers.
Yeah, you're right. Shoulda taken a screen shot, I guess. Just goes to show this seller is - how do we say it - not firing on all cylinders?
He's now giving a 70% discount--- Its' at $58.50. What a deal-- better jump on it!!! To darn funny Wolf
This guy has real E-Bay humor. I like his style. Check it out: http://www.ebay.com/itm/140856553995?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Enjoy, Wolf
I like the fact he says in the description if you wasnt the car ask 13.87 or more. The asking price is 13.87. LOL that's great.
