I was wondering if anyone has had a good idea for mounting this hardware. I'm finding the shape leaves me with double-sided tape as a solution, but I'd like to do better.

I haven't done this with Rokuhan but I have done it with others.
cut a piece of 1/4 plywood 1 inch bigger than the unit.
open unit and center it on the plywood and mark the assembly screw hole locations on plywood
Next drill a hole slightly larger than the screw heads so you can re assemble unit
now find a spot to drill through the bottom of the unit and screw it down to the plywood
next re assemble the unit and screw it back together through the holes in the plywood.
now you should have a 1/2 inch plywood lip all the way around the unit that you can screw through to attach the whole assembly to whatever you want

    David,
I was thinking of something like that. I've had one of the C002 turnout switches open: not a lot of room inside to work and the side power snaps complicate it a bit more. I'd to do a shelf, but the notch along the back-bottom of the units leaves the units unstable in the vertical position.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I found it easy with a piece of copier sheet a mad a pair of right angle brackets and solders pin into a pin hole in side of bracket and a hole in the other side for small screw, I drilled a pin whole in front and badk of C002 that the pin fits into and then screw the brackets down onto a piece of ply wood and do the same with the controllers, In my case I mouted the coo2 in different location from throttles, but turnout lever, snaps onto side of throttles as well reverse circuit lever, and turntable controller so they can be ganged together in one place if desired. I run separates wall wart power supply to my turnout bank of of levers and throttleson one layout on another they are all snapped together including turntable controller in one line, with several brackets to hold them in place along the lineup.

    Hi,

I was afraid to damage the electronic parts inside by opening the switch.
So I used a little bit of hot glue for fixing every second switch (of 12 switches total) on a piece of ply wood. The glue is strong enough, but can be removed.
